Abhismitha (Abhi) is a first-year MCH student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a research assistant for the Center for Leadership Education in Maternal and Child Health. She enjoys learning about issues concerning health equity and health education. Abhi would like to pursue a career researching the impacts of social determinants in chronic pediatric illness. When she is not studying or working, you can find her exploring the twin cities with friends, listening to Bollywood music, or hanging out with her dog Simbha. Gray Taylor is a first-year epidemiology student at the University of Washington and a research project interviewer for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She enjoys learning about issues concerning reproductive and women’s health. Gray would like to pursue a career in designing programs and curricula that increase access to family planning resources and strengthen sexual health knowledge. When she is not studying or working, you can find her running in the parks of Seattle, hiking in the Cascade mountains, or kayaking on the Puget Sound.
